"2009 Best Practices Agencies" Announced

Short Insurance Associates was selected to be part of an elite group of independent insurance agencies in the United States to participate in the independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) "Best Practices" Study Group, and has been awarded the "Best Practices Award for 2009" for the third consecutive year.  Only 183 agencies out of approximately 33,000 independent agencies countrywide qualified for the honor.  Seven agencies were awarded this designation in Virginia.  Each agency was nominated by an IIABA affiliated state association or an insurance company, and was required to be a top performer in its category for outstanding customer service, growth, stability and financial management.

Short Insurance Associates also received the 2009 Best of Charlottesville Award in the Property & Casualty Insurance Agent category by the U.S. Commerce Association.
